Mr. Mick Wines, is named after the late K.H. (Mr. Mick) Knappstein, an Australian winemaking legend and Tim Adams mentor and friend. Tim and his wife Pam purchased the historic site at 7 Dominic Street, Clare in late 2010 and set about reinvigorating the picturesque property into a successful winery and Clare tourist attraction, that now houses a renowned restaurant, cellar door and gallery.

Joel Santos is the winemaker at Mr Mick Wines in South Australias Clare Valley, working alongside respected Clare Valley vigneron Tim Adams. Originally from Portugal, Santos brings an international perspective to the winery, blending Old World winemaking sensibilities with the vibrant fruit expression of Clare Valley vineyards. At Mr Mick, he focuses on crafting approachable, varietally expressive wines that overdeliver on quality and value, continuing the legacy of the winerys namesake, Mick Knappstein, whose philosophy centred on producing honest, drinkable wines that celebrate the region and bring people together around the table.
