Bodegas LAN, named for the three provinces of Logrono, Alava and Navarra, is a leading Rioja producer rooted in Rioja Alta and known for wines that balance tradition with a bold, contemporary spirit. At its core, LAN stands for a confident, uncomplicated expression of Rioja wines that invite people to say yes to enjoyment, to shared moments, and to what truly matters. Working with estate and long-standing grower vineyards, many planted over 30 years ago, LAN specialises in elegant, finely structured red wines, including Crianzas, Reservas and Gran Reservas, that reflect the character of Riojas stony soils. Through a combination of heritage, innovation and a clear sense of purpose, Bodegas LAN continues to craft wines designed to be enjoyed, shared and lived confidently and without pretence.
Bodegas LAN places long-term environmental responsibility at the core of its operations. The estate is committed to sustainable viticulture, with practices that build soil health, encourage biodiversity and reduce reliance on chemical inputs. A significant portion of LANs estate-grown fruit comes from organically farmed vineyards, and the winery has implemented steps such as hand-harvesting, green harvesting and precise monitoring to enhance natural balance in the vineyard. LAN is also a Silver Member of the International Wineries for Climate Action (IWCA), working towards ambitious climate goals including Net Zero by 2050. Packaging and production choices further reflect this commitment: a high percentage of bottles are made from recycled glass, oak barrels are sourced from sustainably managed forests, and all electricity used is certified green.
