At the recently held 2010 International Wine Challenge & Trophy Awards evening in London. Piper Heidsieck & Charles Heidsieck 'chef de caves' Regis Camus is celebrating - because for the fifth time, Regis Camus has won the International Wine Challenge "Sparkling Winemaker of the Year" Trophy. This is the eleventh time for the House and the fifth time for Regis. Previously he has won in 2004, 2007, 2008, 2009 - and now again in 2010!
In addition to this; the "Champagne of the Year" Trophy was awarded to - Charles Heidsieck Brut Vintage 2000.
The worlds most prestigious and influential independent wine competition, the International Wine Challenge (IWC).
The Trophy stage is the final round for these award-winning wines. Having already achieved a Gold medal through the Challenge's rigorous judging process, the wines are tasted once more by an elite panel of judges against others in the same category, to determine if they are worthy of a Trophy in addition to their Gold Medal.
