The Italian OSCAR'S OF WINE was held at the Hilton Cavalieri Rome and filmed by the TV cameras of RAI, the Italian national TV provider. The spotlights were aimed on 27 wine producers voted by the consumers.

The big event was animated by the indefatigable Franco Maria Ricci assisted by Elisa Isoardi with interviews, Video clips and insights into different wineries. On stage, a scene not only impressive but also of high artistic value, and a beautiful parade of VIPs to deliver the prestigious trophies to the ones that have been distinguished for their contribution to the success of wine in the world.

The award for "best wine-producer of the year" was consigned to CECCHI awarded for its wine COEVO. CECCHI has been appointed "Winery of the Year 2010" in recognition of ability to offer excellent and consistent quality throughout an extensive range of wines and for the innovative, successful project related to the launch of our new icon wine, COEVO.

On stage to receive this important recognition Cesare and Andrea Cecchi, who commented the pleasant surprise:

"We live this moment very emotionally, as this award is very exciting and significant for our family and a sort of climax of our centennial wine history, but also a starting point for a future which in our wine COEVO is already present because of its meaning contemporaneous".
