This is my slant on a Margarita. Traditionally Margaritas are served in a glass rimmed with salt with the flavours of the Tequila prominent. Here I've rimmed the glass with Vanilla Sugar, which complements the orange citrus flavours of the Cointreau and Marmalade and offsets the spicy woody notes of the Reposado Tequila.
INGREDIENTS:
45ml el Jimador Reposado
15ml Cointreau
1 large Bar spoon of Breakfast marmalade
30ml Fresh Lime Juice
METHOD:
Add all ingredients to a Boston Shaker and shake well with ice. Strain into a chilled Vanilla Sugar rimmed Cocktail Glass.
GARNISH:
The Vanilla Sugar rim completes this drink perfectly. No garnish required.
