Firstly and for the record I would die a happy man if a creamy cocktail never ever passed my lips again. And no I don't even condone Pina Colada's. However everyone has a different appreciation of flavour and texture so of course creamy cocktails have their place and time. If you or your customer are however that way inclined, this is a delicious drink that is actually quite light and easy. SoCo has fruity and spicy undertones which blend well with many mixers. It is complemented by the dark berry flavour in Chambord which always mixes well with bourbon or whiskey based products.The De Kuyper Creme De Cacao adds more sweetness yet the drink does not over-power the senses with sweetness. Nutmeg is the perfect finish.
INGREDIENTS:
40ml SoCo
10ml Chambord Liqueur
10ml De Kuyper Creme De Cacao
30ml Fresh Cream
Freshly Grated Nutmeg
METHOD:
Simply shake all ingredients together in a Boston Shaker and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
GARNISH:
Lightly grate some fresh nutmeg over the cocktail. Enjoy!
