This week's cocktail embraces the warmer months ahead we all are looking forward to. Christian Drouin Blanche de Normandy is a stunning un-aged Calvados designed for mixing. I've always found aged Calvados very hard to mix as its intense flavour overpowers almost anything. Not the case with this delicious product though.
Try it as a substitute for white rum or vodka in any of your favourite recipes like a Mojito or Daiquiri - outstanding.
Ingredients:
15ml Calvados (Christian Drouin Blanche de Normandy)
15ml Cointreau
90ml Dry-Medium White Wine
Orange slice, apple slices and sliced fresh grapes
30ml Clear Apple Juice
10ml Sugar Syrup
Dash of passion fruit syrup
Method:
Build over ice in a large wine glass. Or better still quadruple the recipe and build in a large pitcher to serve easily to guests at your next cocktail soiree.
