Southern Comfort is introducing an exciting new flavour extension to its range in New Zealand. The original and distinctive spirit of New Orleans was originally created by bartender M.W. Heron in 1874 - known for its unique combination of fruit, spice and whiskey flavours.

Southern Comfort first made its way into American pop culture with the introduction of the "Scarlet O'Hara" cocktail, a drink made with cranberry juice and a slice of lime that became an instant hit alongside the movie 'Gone with the Wind'.

The brand is now set for its next hit on New Zealand shores with Southern Comfort Lime, balanced with an extra zest of lime flavour which offers consumers a lighter, more refreshing alternative to the original Southern Comfort.

Ingredients:
45ml Southern Comfort Lime

15ml Fresh Lime Juice

10ml Sugar Syrup

Club Soda

Method:
Shake first three ingredients well with ice and strain into a highball glass filled with ice. Top with soda, stir and serve.

Garnish:
Garnish with a slice of orange and two berries.
