On the weekends we find ourselves with more time to enjoy the good things in life and a special freshly roasted coffee is a typical treat for many of use in the mornings. Well this cocktail is a pretty standard recipe, but this one has a special finishing touch added that makes it a superb way to finish the evening or day for some. I'm sure some of you would love to start your day off with one of these Espresso Martinis!
Ingredients:
15ml Tia Maria
15ml 26000 Lychee Vodka
15ml Cointreau
15ml Amaretto Disaronno
Double shot of Espresso Coffee
Fresh orange rind
Method:
Pour ingredients into a Boston shaker with ice and give a good shake. Strain liquid into a Martini glass
(this should now be quite frothy) - Now for the twist, cut the end piece of rind from an orange and light until it flames once quickly, and then squeeze the rind slightly using the juice produced to rim the glass. The flavour and aroma that this creates will add that extra finishing touch.
Garnish:
Garnish with 3 coffee beans.
