An original Daiquiri variation created by Constantino Ribalaigua from the famed bar El Floridita in Havana, Cuba - circa 1920.
INGREDIENTS:
50ml Mount Gay Silver Rum
10ml Cointreau
10ml Fresh squeezed Orange juice
10ml Fresh squeezed Lime juice
1/2 - 1 tsp of superfine sugar (to taste)
METHOD:
Add all ingredients into a shaker then half fill with cubed ice and 1/2 fill with crushed ice (to aid dilution required for this drink). Shake well until frosty then double strain into a chilled cocktail or coupette glass.
GARNISH:
Garnish with fresh orange zest.
