Ypioca Coffee Batida

One of the most enchanting and colourful drinks of all cocktails has got to be the Batida. A traditional Brazilian cocktail made with the national alcoholic drink, Cachaca. Batida in Portuguese means 'shaken' or 'milkshake'.

A Batida cocktail is either blended or shaken with ice and is most commonly made with fresh fruits or fruit juice (the most common fruit used in a Batida are passion fruit and coconut) or coconut milk, sugar, and of course cachaca. Other variations often call for 'leite condensado' (sweetened condensed milk), like this Ypioca Coffee Batida.

INGREDIENTS:
50ml Cachaca Ypioca Ouro

100ml Espresso Coffee

50ml Condensed Milk

1tsp Sugar

METHOD:
Simpy put the Cachaca Ypioca Ouro, espresso coffee, condensed milk and the sugar in a blender and mix well. Add ice cubes and serve.
