This new addittion to the Gekkeikan range is a versatile sake and has a smooth, mellow flavour that can be enjoyed warmed, room temperature or chilled. Serve from this traditional "tokkuri" container that was used when purchasing sake in the old days or mix in a simple cocktail.
INGREDIENTS:
60ml Gekkeikan Black and Gold Sake
15ml De Kuyper Kwai Feh Lychee Liqueur
Large handful of Green Seedless Grapes
Juice of 1/2 a Lime
1 tsp White Sugar
Chi - to top drink with
METHOD:
In a tall glass muddle the grapes, lime juice and sugar to extract flavours. Fill glass with ice, Gekkeikan sake and De Kuyper Lychee. Stir gently and top with chi until glass is full.
GARNISH:
Garnish with 3 grapes skewered on a toothpick.
