I have never been the biggest fan of cider but Magners is different. Being made from 100% fruit the taste is just delicious and so refreshing on these hot afternoons. So this week I had a little play to see how well the new Magners Pear Cider (Perri as the category specifies) mixes with spirit and citrus. I kept it pretty simple and it worked well adding a little more tropical fruit and kick to the whole experience. Hayley from our Art Department agrees.
INGREDIENTS:
30ml Finlandia Vodka
20ml Passionfruit Syrup
1/2 lime
Handful of mint
Magners Pear Cider to top
METHOD:
Simply add the lime, passionfruit syrup and Finlandia vodka to a tall glass. Fill the glass half with ice and stir well to achieve some dillution. Add the mint leafs and finally top with a splash of Magners Pear cider.
GARNISH:
Garnish with a mint sprig.
