This is your chance to pour a piece of Jack Daniels history for your patrons. Dont miss out.
Over the last decade, we have been experimenting to recreate a product that would honour the liquid Jack Daniel's created at the end of the 1800s, all while keeping up with the growing demand for Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey around the world. The first aged, stated whiskey from the Jack Daniel Distillery was released in the early 1900s. Our archives tell us Jack Daniel Distillery released 10, 12, 14, 18, and 21-year-old whiskey between the early & the mid-1900s. To honour our distillery's past, our Master Distiller, Chris Fletcher handcrafted this aged-stated whiskey and evolved our whiskey process to achieve a rare flavour profile. Jack Daniel's Aged Series highlights the modern-day world-class whiskey-making expertise of Jack Daniel Distillery while honouring our past. To reinforce Jack Daniel Distillery's history in aged whiskey, the label on this bottle gives a nod to the original cartouche on Jack Daniels age-stated bottles from a century ago.
The ingredients and whiskey-making process of Jack Daniel's 10-year-old Tennessee Whiskey is the same as Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey - 80% corn, 12% malted barley, and 8% rye. Unaged whiskey is mellowed drop by drop through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal before entering the barrel. Evolving Jacks past aged-stated whiskey process, these Tennessee Whiskey barrels have been aging in the upper floors of our barrelhouse, and then methodically relocated to the lower ricks to extend the aging process. The extreme weather variation at different locations in the barrelhouses along with longevity in our handmade oak barrels creates an intense, unique character of Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey at 97 proof.
