TASTING NOTE:
Over summer when friends come over for lunch on the weekend and then generally stay for dinner - one wine that can match most salads, barbequed shell-fish and is refreshing throughout the whole day is a glass of Rose.
Don't be fooled by the light colour of a rose and think to yourself that the wine will be light in personality. On the contrary rose's can have exciting aromas that leap from the glass and on the palate they are fresh and lively and ready to drink as soon as you get a bottle home from your favourite wine shop.
This Akarua Pinot Noir Rose has a vibrant pink hue appearance in the glass, and has inviting rich strawberry and candy aromas. On the palate you have good berry-fruit intensity with a long and lingering cherry finish.
CELLARING POTENTIAL:
Drinking perfectly now over the coming summer months.
SUGGESTED FOOD MATCHES:
Perfect match with summer salads, salmon, smoked chicken and fresh fruits, enjoy.
Best enjoyed at 10-12 Celsius.
