Akarua has won New Zealand International Wine Show Champion Pinot Noir, for the third consecutive year!
Delivering a deep, bright ruby colour, this wine displays black fruit flavours, complexity and fine tannins that Bannockburn Pinot Noir is renowned for. The bouquet has sweet spice with an underlying dark fruit and earthiness whilst the palate is finely balanced with red and black fruits, spices and a brambly earthiness. The finely textured tannins lead to a persistent and elegant finish.
