TASTING NOTE:
This Chardonnay uses water bent barrels for the fermentation and aging process. This allows for an exquisite extraction of oak flavour that integrates early into the wine and contributes a soft, rounded texutre to the palate.
Greenish gold in colour, the nose has Acacia blossom, honeycomb, brioche toast and apple notes. The palate displays marmalade, ginger, pastry crust and brie.
Chardonnay is a versatile variety lending itself well to both lighter and more substanial food matchings. A classic with fish, it pairs particularly well with swordfish or halibut.
