GRAPE VARIETIES: 100% Pinot Noir
GROWING REGION: Bannockburn, Central Otago
HEAD WINEMAKER: Jacqueline Kemp
TASTING NOTE:
Central Otago has been another great find not only for New Zealand, but also for wine lovers from all over the world.
As we have another unique region in the world, producing another exciting, fresh expression of Pinot Noir. Giving new and expereienced wine drinkers something to look forward to with fine cuisine and good friends. The 'Cadence' Pinot Noir in its youth has a vibrant bouquet of wild strawberries and raspberries. Subtle undertones, fine layers, notes of dried mushrooms, earthiness and hints of smokey herbs integrate well on the nose. The palate is already showing good balance with good acidity and supple tannins.
CELLARING POTENTIAL:
If you enjoy your Pinot Noir fresh, vibrant and fruit driven you can enjoy this wine now, plus if you can find the patience it will age well for another 5+ years.
SUGGESTED FOOD MATCHES:
Enjoy with Pork, Lamb, or a grilled Tuna salad.
