This is a forgotten classic cocktail from the archives, consisting of a brandy and aromatised wine base with hints of orange, maraschino and aniseed liqueurs. A lovely digestive drink for after hours.
INGREDIENTS:
30ml St Remy VSOP Brandy
30ml Dolin Dry Vermouth
1/4 tsp De Kuyper Triple Sec
1/4 tsp De Kuyper Maraschino Liqueur (Marasquin)
1/4 tsp De Kuyper Anisette
2 dashes of Fee Brothers Orange Bitters
METHOD:
Stir well with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
GARNISH:
Maraschino Cherry.
