Ingredients:
60ml Samba Cachaca Brasil
30ml Condensed milk
1/2tsp Superfine sugar
8 Blueberries
1/2 Cup ice
Method:
Mix all ingredients in a blender. Pour into a tall glass. Batida is a style of drink in Brazil that is mixed with fresh fruit, Cachaca and condensed milk.
What is Cachaca?
While Cachaca is labeled as Brazilian rum in the U.S. It stands apart from most rums in both production and taste. Sugarcane is the main ingredient in both spirits, yet rum is made from molasses, a by-product of sugar refineries, while Cachaca is distilled from fresh pressed sugarcane juice.
