The Teeling Old Fashioned we serve at the Teeling Distillery sticks to Proulxs original formula, however we have given it a decidedly Caribbean/summertime twist as an homage to the rum casks that our Small Batch Whiskey is finished in. Our stimulating liquor is Teeling Small Batch and an Orange Liqueur from the Caribbean know as Clement Creole Shrubb. Our sugar is represented by a homemade pineapple syrup and our bitters is in the form of a couple of dashes of orange bitters that allows us to balance out some of those sugars and add another layer of complex flavour. Ingredients:
2 parts Teeling Small Batch Whiskey

1 part Clement Creole Shrubb (Orange Liqueur)

½ part Pineapple Syrup (equal parts pineapple juice and caster sugar, warm (don’t boil) & stir until sugar dissolves, allow to cool)

3 dash Orange Bitters

2 parts water
