Tasting Note: Opaque with a dark aubergine core. Lifted aromas of black and blue fruits, blueberry, mulberry, blackberry and black plum, layered with graphite, sandalwood, liquorice and dark cocoa. The palate is plush and inviting, with abundant dark fruit, soft round tannins and an earthy forest floor note adding complexity, with fruit and acid well balanced across a textured mouthfeel and a smooth, generous finish. A real pleasure to drink, cellar up to 15 years, though best enjoyed within the first 10.
