A while back, two friends sat at a bar and sipped on yet another rum they found didn’t quite hit the spot. Turns out, this was actually a good thing. After eighteen months of R&D, they’ve created their very own, spiced rum.

It was worth the wait. Crafted from all natural spices, that have been blended in New Zealand with the finest Caribbean golden rums, a well-rounded drop that echoes the name printed on every bottle, has been created.

Historically, the helmsman has always been seen as; a leader, a plotter of courses, the “man with the plan”. That same notion steers the Helmsman brand into bringing people together, and celebrating each day’s accomplishments. With the first batch of matured spiced rum now readily available, the Helmsman crew eagerly look forward to seeing which course this project will take them to next.
