Larceny
About The Brand

The story of Larceny begins with John E. Fitzgerald, a bonded U.S. Treasury Agent who usedhis position to steal tastes of some of the best Bourbon. He used his keys to let himself in andthieve a few sips after nightfall. When it came time to dump the barrels, some were found tobe unusually light and exceptionally smooth. These became known as Fitzgerald barrels andwere later bottled and sold as Old Fitzgerald Bottled-In-Bond.
Today, John E. Fitzgeralds legacy lives on through Larceny and Old Fitzgerald: honouring onemans act of mischief that left the world with extraordinary bourbons.

Going Against The Grain

Unlike most Bourbon whiskeys, this mashbill favors wheat over rye as the secondary grain. In fact, it contains 25% more wheat than the leading competitor. The result is a smoother, rounder flavor profile, standing in contrast to the spicier, more robust notes of ryea difference that sets it apart in the best way.
