At Chateau Los Boldos, French Old World winemaking techniques collide with Chile's vibrant New World terroir in their property located 100 kilometres south of Santiago at the foot of the Andes. The winery's 200+ hectares, including 66-year-old Cabernet Sauvignon and 55-year-old Merlot vines, are subject to the beneficial alluvial influence of the nearby Cachapoal River. In the vineyard it's all about sustainable practices, with this strong environmental focus providing French winemaker Stephane Geneste with superb parcels of fruit from which to fashion the estate's premium wines.
