Finlandia Cocktail Competition Winner

At the start of last week the Australian/New
Zealand round of the Finlandia Cup was held in Sydney.
Three competitors from NZ took part, vying for
the opportunity to represent NZ in Finland at t
he final of the Finlandia Vodka Cup.
Competing were;
Del Herewini from Elbow Room Auckland,
Eddy Kennedy from Hummingbird Wellington and
Chris Harrop from Pop Bar in Dunedin.
All three competitors did NZ proud, mixing original,
tasty cocktails that impressed the highly qualified
judging panel of Tony Abou-Ganim, Dale Degroff and Amy Spanton.
It was a most enjoyable evening and at the end of the
competition the winner for NZ, who created
'Hot First Date' as his Aperitif,
'Orchid Situation' as his Long Drink and
'French Yolklore' as his Dessert Cocktail won.
Congratulations Chris Harrop from Pop Bar, Dunedin
Chris will travel to Finland at the end of this week
