Jules Taylor wines are something quite special - they have a unique style and character that's simply Jules Taylor.

Jules a Marlborough girl born and bred, growing up in this wine region meant that the eb and flow of the viticultural seasons have never been far from her view. Although she calls Marlborough ''home'' Jules has also spent much time wondering the globe's other wine producing areas.

Jules (pictured on the back of the Vespa) has always been fascinated with the culture and winemaking style of Italy, and has spent 8 vintages there; 4 in Piedmont and 4 under the direction of Kym Milne MW in Sicily. Jules over time has also worked in Australia at Yarra Ridge Winery in Victoria and the Hunter Valley's Rothbury Estate.

Her New Zealand wine résumé includes Saint Clair, Mount Riley, Cloudy Bay, Villa Maria, and her current day job as Head Winemaker for Kim Crawford Wines in Marlborough.

Jules has a hands on approach to winemaking. She likes to keep things on a personal basis - having close relationships with her grape growers and vineyard sites, gives her the ability to select exceptional small parcels of grapes from around Marlborough for her wine.

As Jules always says - all her wines are best enjoyed with great food and good friends.
